Scepter Awarded Funding by America for Bulgaria Foundation
Scepter won the Science with a Future competition, securing 25,000 BGN to scale the production of our intelligent fermentation controllers.
Scepter was selected as a winner of the Science with a Future competition organised by the America for Bulgaria Foundation — a national programme that backs research teams turning rigorous science into deployable industrial technology.
The grant of 25,000 BGN is earmarked for one objective: to scale the production of our intelligent fermentation controllers from a hand-assembled engineering run to a small-batch industrial line. That means certified components, validated firmware images, sealed enclosures, and the kind of supply discipline that lets a winery commission ten units the same week they sign the contract.
What this funding unlocks
- Tooling for sanitary IP68 enclosure manufacturing.
- A repeatable calibration rig for in-tank instrumentation.
- Field-installation kits sized for 9-tank to 24-tank cellars.
- An expanded inventory of LoRaWAN gateways and edge controllers.
Equally important is the signal it sends to estates evaluating the platform. Scepter is no longer a research artefact: it is a vetted, funded, production-bound system with institutional confidence behind every cellar deployment.
We thank the foundation, the jury, and the broader Bulgarian scientific community that built the conditions for a project like Scepter to exist.
Bring this level of precision to your cellar. We onboard estates by invitation — book a private walkthrough.
